2. THE HAT

This hostel is actually quite famous in Madrid, both for accommodation and also for its rooftop bar that has one of the nicest views in Madrid. It  is located in a great part of  Madrid – close to all attractions! The staff always tries to make you feel comfortable here, you will feel that the moment you enter!  They offer breakfast for only 3.5€ but at night they have  free tapas and sangria!  The atmosphere is hip and the rooms are comfy and clean.

Sungate One is quite a popular hostel in Madrid.  Actually, not only in Madrid as it has been selected as one of the best hostels in Spain and also the best-located hostel in Europe! For breakfast they serve churros, as well as coffee and tea, all of which are complementary! 4. OK HOSTEL

OK Hostel is in the heart of the lively neighborhood of La Latina in Madrid. The building of the hostel  is a historical and magical place! It is super clean, the rooms are spacious and the location is great!  The staff is also very informative about the city and what you can do.  Every day, the hostel holds a different activity such as beer pong, movie nights, pub crawls and city tours. There is a dinner organized  every night where there is an open buffet with good drinks – you can even bring your own alcohol to the bar if you want! Dinner isn’t free but it is offered at a very fair price!

5. 2060 THE NEWTON HOSTEL

2060 The Newton is exceptional accommodation for your stay in Madrid. The interior design of the hostel is very  minimalist which provides a very cool ambiance BUT it is still budget friendly! If you are in Madrid, you can’t avoid the well connected and famous street known as: Calle Gran Via. Mucho Madrid is located in Gran Via, an impeccable location for a small stay in Madrid.  The price of the hostel includes your breakfast(which tastes great), your linen and towels  (unlike other hostels in town).  Rather then a hostel, the atmosphere in Mucho Madrid is more like a home, specifically because of the lovely staff and the comfortable rooms.  You will not want to leave!

7. MAD4YOU

Mad4You is a hostel located between two metro stations of the city; Noviciado and Tribunal. The building is an old Madrid-style mansion that has been recently renovated.  The building looks and feels like it has hosted many people in its time.  It has a vintage feel to it yet it has a very modern touch!  The area is very peaceful and nice and it is only ten minutes away from the main attractions by foot.  The complete breakfast is included in the room rate.

8. FAR HOME ATOCHA

Far Home Atocha has a place for everyone in Madrid. The hostel offers both private and shared rooms. Big families or a group of friends are also welcomed to stay. The common areas are very spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast and security lockers are offered but for a small fee. The location is wonderful as it is only few hundred meters away from Plaza Mayor and Sol Square. In addition,  the Huertas area is only a few minutes away where you can get great tapas!

9. GENERATOR MADRID

Generator works its magic everywhere it goes. Their location  in Madrid is in an amazing building that was built in the 1930’s and survived the Spanish Civil War. The design is again pretty eclectic as always in Generator Hostels – which makes it quite memorable in that sense.  The rooms are great; there is a type of room available for different requirements.  The hostel is actually pretty convenient for families with kids as they offer a home-like environment.
