I would like to thank @casakesslerbarcelona for participating as a sponsor in the 24th #TodosDurmiendoEnLaCalle by providing 3 #HomelessEntrepreneurs with a room on the 20th! Here's a message from their manager: "Barcelona is a lovely city as we all know. It has amazing art and architecture and history on every corner. We love to welcome people from all over the world and make them feel like home. But our city also has other issues. There are around 1000 homeless people living on the streets. HomelessEntrepreneur is an NGO that helps homeless people who want to tell their story and work to become active citizens again by focusing on their talent and professional skills and allowing them to recuperate their dignity and human value. Nobody should lose that, no matter what the circumstances we face in our lives. Casa Kessler Barcelona wants to participate and give back to the city what the city gives us, it is so little and still we hope we will encourage others to follow and offer whatever they can and have to help others in need. Three beautiful human beings will have a short 24 hours holiday in our place and during the 20th the ONG is organizing yoga classes, a picnic in the Parc, activities and dinner and breakfast the next morning. The same night we invite them over to our hostels, we invite volunteers to spend the night on the street with the organization in an attempt to raise awareness and visibility to the struggles they face every single day. Anyone who wants and can is invited to all activities. Your presence is welcomed no matter where you come from. This is not a sad event, on the contrary, let’s enjoy together being alive and here for each other. Humanity first." Hanne #HomelessEntrepreneur
7. TOC HOSTEL- MADRID
Toc Hostel is located in the centre of Madrid, so everything in the city is close by! The popularity of Toc Hostel comes from the combination of different art movements. For instance, they have a ceiling with a painting on it and also quirky writings and Andy Warhol style decorations around. Also, there are no room keys here; you use your fingerprint to enter your room! Even though breakfast is not included with the room rate, it is only 6€ for their buffet. The hostel has a very hip and artsy vibe that makes it a really cool place to stay.
