“Bruncher” is now a verb in popular parlance here in Paris, and we understand why, as there is nothing quite like a slow Sunday morning followed by a generous, delicious brunch. Fortunately, in Paris you aren’t short of places to source a winning brunch; tasty, aesthetically pleasing, good coffee… but there is a major drawback, brunches in Paris are EXPENSIVE! INSIDR set our INSIDER community the challenge of finding some top spots to get a delicious brunch for under 20 €, they certainly didn’t disappoint. Here are their findings:
Le café qui parle
Every weekend, this restaurant offers an impressive serve-yourself buffet of freshly made viennoise pastries, salads, home-made jams, bagels, cheeses, fresh fruit… basically all your heart could possibly desire for a buffet style brunch. The best part? It’s only 17,50€ for a generous meal, so you won’t be left out of pocket, but certainly left full of food. This place is a hit during the weekend, so we highly recommend getting there between 10:30- 11am or around 3pm so you have a chance of finding a table!

Thank You, my Dear
To match its colourful, funky interior, Thank you, My Deer has a menu to match. Home-made sandwiches, salads, sweet and savoury waffles and tartines gourmandes are all found on the menu of this proudly gluten-free café. Prices for brunch vary between 20€ and 22€, but we think that extra 2€ is worth it for this jolly brunch outing!

112 Rue Saint-Maur – 75011
A brunch feast at Coquelicot should definitely make it onto your itinerary of things to do during your trip to Montmartre. Serving a feast fit for an army during the week for a reasonable 18,45 €, it will be the ideal reward for trekking up the steep hill to the Sacre Coeur. If you plan on going on the weekend, brunch is slightly out of our budget at 20,60 € and much busier (booking highly recommended) so a weekday trip will save you time and money!

For example, their full English breakfast and a café crème will keep you within budget at 18€.
