“Bruncher” is now a verb in popular parlance here in Paris, and we understand why, as there is nothing quite like a slow Sunday morning followed by a generous, delicious brunch. Fortunately, in Paris you aren’t short of places to source a winning brunch: tasty, aesthetically pleasing, good coffee… but there is a major drawback, brunches in Paris are EXPENSIVE! INSIDR set our INSIDER community the challenge of finding some top spots to get a delicious brunch for under 20€, they certainly didn’t disappoint.
If you’re interested in finding more of INSIDR’s favorite restaurants, cafés, and food shops, make sure to grabe your copy of our Eating in Paris Guide!
Le Café Qui Parle
Every weekend, this restaurant offers an impressive serve-yourself buffet of freshly made viennoise pastries, salads, home-made jams, bagels, cheeses, fresh fruit… basically all your heart could possibly desire for a buffet style brunch. The best part? It’s only 19,50€ for a generous meal, so you won’t be left out of pocket, but certainly left full of food. This place is a hit during the weekend, so we highly recommend getting there between 10:30- 11am or around 3pm so you have a chance of finding a table!

Marcel
This stylish establishment is a hit with Parisians, and we can see why when you take a look at their extensive brunch menu! Whilst they don’t serve a formule brunch option, if you are canny with your selection, you are on the path to brunch perfection. For example, their full English breakfast and a café crème will keep you within budget at 19.50€. They have a few different branches in the city so go check out the Marcel official website.
Marcel – Babylone

Treize au Jardin
Step off the busy Parisian streets into a hidden village-esque courtyard and enjoy a tasty brunch of homemade food in a quaint and cosy atmosphere. At Treize au Jardin, you can enjoy a hearty plate of brunch while staying under budget. We highly recommend their ‘breakfast plate’ for 15€ which has ‘fried eggs, smoked free range sausage, sweet potato has browns, veggies, and buttermilk biscuit.

Muscovado
If you find yourself hungry for brunch on a weekday, pop over to Muscovado just near Place de la Bastille. This cute little café run by 2 sisters serves an all-day brunch menu! Hey, if you’re craving for pancakes at 2pm of a Thursday, no one’s judging you! Your 20€ budget can go as far as ordering this signature avocado toast with a side of café latté. Afterwards, walk it off as you go window-shopping in this trendy area.
Muscovado
All-day brunch: 10am-5pm Thursday to Monday
Address: 1 rue Sedaine, 75011
Metro access: Breguet Sabin (Line 5)
Holybelly 5
Another staple in the Parisian brunch scene is Holybelly 5. This is one of the spots in the city where the line could snake as long as entire street! Avoid this by going in the middle of the week either extremely early or extremely late, just before closing time. Whether you like your brunch sweet or savory, you’ll walk out off this place full after spending your 20€. Check out their menu here.
INSIDR Tip: They have since opened a 2nd spot on the same street called Holybelly 19. This place is more of a small-plates-restaurant rather than a brunch spot. |
Holybelly 5
All-day brunch: 9am-4pm daily
Address: 5 Rue Lucien Sampaix, 75010
Metro access: Jacques Bonsergent (Line 5)
