Covent Garden Market
Covent Garden hosted many markets for centuries before the current market building was built in 1830. Over 180 years later, the original building not only still stands, but it’s still the home of one of London’s most popular markets. That’s a lot of depthy history, which surely makes it worth a little look-see! Inside the Apple Market building today, you’ll find an array of handmade crafts and goods. On Mondays the market is also full of collectibles and one-off antiques.
The Royal Opera House

The Royal Opera House is a magnificent opera house and performing arts building in Covent Garden. Built in 1858, it’s actually the third theatre built on-site after the previous two were destroyed by fire. Today you can visit the Opera House to see a performance, an exhibition, or go on a behind-the-scenes tour. There’s also a restaurant, bar and shop on the premises.
