Elmer is right up there on the list of the best bistros in Paris. There are a lot to choose from, but this one gets the INSIDR seal of approval.
Best Bistros in Paris: Elmer
TESTED AND APPROVED BY THE INSIDR TEAM
For whom? Ideal for French food lovers who seek a twist of creativity on their quest for the best bistros in Paris
What’s in it? Chic atelier inspired neo-bistro by the chef Simon Horwitz
What we love best? The famous French regional cuisine suckling lamb from the Pyrenees and the grilled duck are amazing. The staff is extremely caring and will really try to match your needs. Quality of service is often something of a criticism that is levelled against Parisian staff and waiters in restaurants. I for one am a fervent supporter of the fantastic quality of French service and find this stereotype very misplaced as you don’t even have to go to the best bistros in Paris to find some excellent staff. But I would therefore thoroughly recommend that you head to Elmer and find out exactly what I mean and dispel any kind of misconceptions that you might have about French service!
What’s the mood like? Stylish yet simple, Elmer secures its status as one of the best bistros in Paris owing to its appeal to different clientele; its ideal for a date or a dinner with friends over a delicious bottle of wine.
