TESTED AND APPROVED BY THE INSIDR TEAM
For whom? The ideal restaurant for seafood lovers in a design & creative atmosphere
What’s in it? Whether you love oysters, or fish, or more elaborate seafood based dishes, Clamato is your best bet in Paris. The menu changes EVERY DAY, which means ever-fresh products and local sourcing. Each dish is relatively small, so the staff usually recommends to share 5 or 6 dishes between two people. The other day, we tried a nice selection of raw and cooked seafood: oysters, ceviche, deep fried accra, marinated mackerel, and home-made tarama. Everything was delicious!
What do we love best? We love the fact that it is not possible to book ahead at Clamato. No need to think about getting a table weeks in advance here, you just have to pop up by 7PM-7.30PM and they’ll find a great table for you!
What’s the mood like? The restaurant is really nicely and carefully decorated. The evening atmosphere is perfect, with candlelight and dim light bulbs. During the day, you’ll be enchanted by the large window at the back of the restaurant looking over a really beautiful hidden Parisian garden
