ELIGIBILITY FOR A TAX REFUND AT PARIS AIRPORTS
Before arriving at a Paris airport, ready to claim a tax refund, be sure you meet the criteria. You must be from outside of the European Union, over 15 years old, and have spent over 175€ in the same retail store on the same day. If you meet this criteria, you can then reclaim the tax value that was added on your retail items, which is listed on your receipt.
HOW TO GET A TAX REFUND AT PARIS AIRPORTS?
Be sure to have your receipt and a Detaxe form with you when arriving at Paris airports to claim your tax refund. You can get the Detaxe form when you checkout after shopping, and even fill it out before arriving at the airport.
Once you arrive at one of the Paris airports, all you have to do is locate either a Travelex counter or PABLO self-service machine.
After your forms are stamped and scanned, you then have two options: get an instant cash refund by waiting in another line to have everything reviewed by a customs officer, or receive money later by mailing the form yourself by dropping it in a mailbox at the airport.
