AIRPORT TO PARIS BY TRAIN
Both the airports are connected by the RER B suburban train that stops at the following places in Paris: Gare du Nord, Chatelet-Les Halles, Saint Michel-Notre Dame, Luxembourg, Port Royal, Denfert- Rochereau, Cité Universitaire.

From Charles De Gaulle Airport: Once you have exited from the arrival hall, follow the signs at the airport that says “Paris by Train/RER B”. You can purchase a ticket from the ticket machines that are installed just before you enter the station (Price €11,90 one way for adults, €7 for children between 4-9yrs; cash and credit cards accepted).
From Orly Airport: As you exit the airport, look out for signs for the Orly Val- this shuttle service takes you till Anthony RER B stop from where you need to change to the RER B suburban train that will get you to Paris. You will have to buy a Paris Visite ticket (a daily pass valid for zones 1 to 5) or a one way ticket. The machines accept cash and credit cards.

PARIS AIRPORT TO CITY BY BUS

From Charles De Gaulle Airport: To take the bus, follow the signs at the airport that say “Roissy Bus“. There is a vending machine to buy the ticket (Price €11.90 one way, cash and credit cards accepted). The bus goes direct to Opéra, which is near the Paris city center. From here you can switch to the metro at Opéra (lines 3, 7 or 8) to get your destination. The bus ride takes approximately 50 minutes.
From Orly airport: This is the easiest and cheapest way to get from Orly airport to Paris city centre. The bus leaves from the Orly Sud gate H platform 4 and Orly Ouest gate J level 0 – arrivals and arrives at “Place Denfert-Rochereau” – in the South of Paris. From here you can take the RER B or metro lines 4 and 6 to arrive at your final destination. In the direction of Orly to Paris – the first one is at 6am with the last one leaving at 12.30am. The cost is only €8 one way and the journey time is between 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

PARIS AIRPORT TO CITY BY LE BUS DIRECT
This service is operated by Air France and is available from both airports to Paris city.
From Charles De Gaulle Airport: There are four different lines that can take you closer to the place you need in Paris and there’s even one that takes you directly to Orly airport. Lines 2, 3 and 4 stop at Terminal 2E and 2F and Terminal 1 and you can purchase tickets from the machines nearby the stop or you can purchase them online.

From Orly Airport to Paris city: To get to Paris city from Orly, the bus starts at Orly West and Orly South, makes stops at Invalides and Gare Montparnasse, before arriving at Place de l’Étoile. If you don’t have luggage you can get off at Porte D’Orleans – for those with luggage you have to wait till the end! It makes the trip in reverse if you’re going to the Airport.

You can also take a private taxi from the airport to Paris city. The signs to the taxi stand are well places all over the airport and you have to wait in the line to take a taxi. In 2016, the rates were revised and now there is a flat rate from the airport to the city. if you’re travelling from the Charles de Gaulle airport, you’ll pay €55 for a trip heading anywhere on the Left Bank and €50 for anywhere on the Right Bank. If you’re travelling from the Orly airport, you’ll pay €30 for a trip heading anywhere on the Left Bank and €35 for anywhere on the Right Bank.
