This underground Paris concert venue is a favourite amongst trendy Parisians. Far removed from the mainstream nightlife scene, La Bellevilloise is an underground concert venue where you can attend events as diverse as hip-hop evenings organised by Free Your Funk, cuban afternoons put on by Gilles Peterson or soul, funk, world concerts.

LIVE MUSIC PARIS SMALL CONCERT VENUES : LA MAROQUINERIE

Built like an amphitheatre, it’s unsurprising that the acoustic quality in this venue is always top notch. Despite it’s impressive architecture, it’s not built for more than 500 people, meaning that concerts here still hold an intimate quality. Their line up is adventurously avant-guard, featuring mainly indie pop and rock, but also funk, folk, soul, jazz and even hardcore metal and punk. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the shows (between €20-25).

An atypical concert venue, Batofar is a large lighthouse boat moored on the Seine that hosts up-and-coming artists until the early hours of the morning. This venue specialises in hip-hop, rock, electro, dancehall, house, minimal, techno, drum’n’base, jungle and dubstep.
